Mohra Sharif

Mohra Sharif (Holy Village; Mohra for ''small village'' and Sharif for ''holy'' or ''noble'') is a spiritual center and home of the Naqshbandia Mujaddadiya. Qasimiya Sufi order is a Naqshbandi in origin, and is based in a small village called Mohra Shareef located in the Murree Hills of Punjab, outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad. It was made into a spiritual center by Ghous-e-Zaman Ala-Hazrat Baba Ji Khawaja Muhammad Qasim Sadiq (b. 1263 A.H.).
Khawaja's ancestors migrated from Iran to the Rawalpindi District of Pakistan. Khawaja Sahib was the Ghaus-e-Zaman of his time better known among the Sufis as the Spiritual Sun on the horizon of the East. Khawaja Baba Ji's 120 years of life forms a proud chapter of Islamic renaissance in this region of Asia. His 700 Khalifa are all Auliyas with very high status among the Sufis.
Baba Ji Muhammad Qasim Sadiq died on 20 November 1943. After his death the Qasmiya Order was led by his son Pir Mohammad Zahid khan Sahib and the order Nisbat-e-Rasooli was led by his eldest son Pir Nazir Ahmed Sahib. Twice a year, in the last week of May and November, congregations (''urs paak'') are held to commemorate Qasim Sadiq.
After Hazrat Pir Nazir Ahmed, his son Hazrat Pir Muhammad Gul Badshah continued preaching as had his father and grandfather.
In 1947 Pir Gul Badshah contributed for construction of hospitals, schools and government buildings in Pakistan, and recommended that the slogan of Pakistan (Pakistan Ka Matlab kya ? " La ilaha illAllah ", should be extended to " La ilaha illAllah Muhammadur Rasulullah ". He also said tht before the National News Broadcast on PTV there should be recitation of Holy Quran & Hadees Paak with Urdu translation.
Hazrat Pir Muhammad Farooq Gul Badshah was the eldest son of Hazrat Pir Muhammad Gul Badshah and grandson of Hazrat Pir Nazeer Ahmed. He was awarded a Master's Degree from the Government College of Lahore. After some years of work he established a construction firm. He worked in Pakistan, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, constructing bridges, roads and buildings.
Pir Mujtaba Farooq Gul is the eldest son of Hazrat Pir Muhammad Farooq Gul and the sajjada nasheen of Darbar Mohra Sharif Rawalpindi. He completed his education BS (Honours) in Computer Science from the National University of Computer And Management Sciences. At the Annual Urs Sharif in April 2006, he appointed his son as a successor of Darbar Mohra Sharif Rawalpindi.

Sahabzada Omer Farooq Gul Badshah
Sahibzada Omer Farooq Gul is the youngest son of Pir Muhammad Farooq Gul Badshah. He has done Masters in Project Management from University of Wollongong, Australia and worked with some of the leading organisations in Pakistan.
